Have you ever used Hotels.com to book a vacation package with flights and car rental?

This might sound like an odd question to ask but basically, I want to go on a long trip on my own. My itinerary includes a short road trip, traveling by plane, and staying at a hotel. A whole package, pretty much.
I was told that Hotels.com offers all that I need, but I want to ask if somebody has done something similar. How did it go? Did you have any issues booking all the things you needed? Do you think it is a good idea to book vacation packages with flights and car rentals from Hotels.com, or should I book everything separately instead?

Hotels.com only lets you book hotel rooms and similar accommodations, not flights or car rentals. You can choose to book everything separately on individual websites or you can use another website that allows you to book everything in one for peace of mind. Expedia, Hotels.com's parent company, offers all-inclusive vacation packages like this.
