How does Hotels.com handle bookings for large groups or events?
Asked 2 years ago
Hello all.
My fiancé and I have decided to have our wedding in Italy, and we want it to be a part of a big vacation that includes our loved ones as well. Altogether, there should be about 50 people or so. Needless to say, it's a huge event for us, and although some "surprises" are expected, we would still like everything to go as smoothly as possible.
So, with all of that in mind, do you think organizing this event through Hotels.com is a good idea? Has anybody done anything similar? Do you have any helpful tips to share? Thank you.

Hotels.com is a great place to book group stays for events such as meetings, sports team events, and yes, weddings. To make a group booking, you can head to the Group Hotels.com webpage.
When you make a group booking through Hotels.com, they will offer you the following:
- Speedy quotes
- Guaranteed lowest group rate
- An assigned local planner
- Free hotel room vouchers
- Free rooms for group coordinator (when applicable)
- Pay the hotel separately
Hotels will bid on getting your business, which means that there will be little effort required on your part, as well as up t 30% discounts on some stays. Enjoy the wedding!
