Can you book a rental car through Expedia?

Hello.
My husband and I had a short road trip planned for the next weekend, but our car broke down recently and is now at the repairman's. We probably won't have it back in time. He wanted to postpone the trip, but I would rather rent a car and enjoy the weekend as planned. Can we do that through Expedia? How does it work?

With Expedia, it's simple to rent a car for the duration of your stay. All you will need to do is head to their website and select "Cars" from the panel at the top of the screen. From here fill in when and where you will need the car and select search.

You will be shown a list of available vehicles that can be filtered through the area, company, brand, price, etc.
