Is DHgate similar to AliExpress?

All the reviews I can find of DHgate and AliExpress make it seem like they're the same store. Are they maybe owned by the same company or something? Which is better, AliExpress or DHgate?

DHgate and AliExpress are similar but competing online e-commerce platforms. Both offer B2B and B2C features to help businesses, mostly from China, connect with international sellers. They are not owned by the same company. Which one you choose to use depends on which products you need and who you want to buy it from.
